FAQ

Why can't I embed your YouTube posts to my website?
This channel does not let you embed the videos. There is a reason for this. I am a non-profit organization. These clips still have value. I cannot have anybody making money from these great writers and actors ( and everybody else involved in this wonderful show ) that does not go directly to the Almost Live! folks. I mean, John Keister has had to resort to making "Renton Ahead of the Curve" commercials, for crying out loud!
There was this really funny thing I saw a long time ago and I can't remember anything about it. Do you have it?
Check out the new popular section. It has a list of some of the greatest recurring Almost Live! bits!
It wasn't there. Do you have that one Almost Live! video where...
Did you try searching for it? Look at the top of the page - see the odd word that says "search"? Enter a few key words that you remember about the video into the box next to it and press John's head, then and see what comes up!
Your search thingee doesn't match any of my vague keywords. I'm looking for the video where the guy does this thing. So do you have *that* video?
The answer is that I might have it. Most likely it isn't posted yet. Almost Live! aired for 15 years ( 1984 - 1999 ), and I am the first to admit that I don't have everything. I'm in the process of getting everything that I do have over to YouTube and into the Episode Guide. Once I get all the way through season 15, you will be able to use the guide to determine whether or not I have the video you are looking for. In the meantime, be patient, and keep checking back!
Why won't you be my YouTube friend?
I don't use the YouTube friends feature, which as of late seems to be mostly made up of BOTS. Feel free to send me a personal message on YouTube, but if you want to be friends, I encourage you to look me up on Facebook. There, I can see what you are up to and randomly comment on items pertaining to the Seattle area.
Why are YouTube ratings disabled?
Good News, Everyone! You can now tell everybody just what you think about the videos right here on the site! Just find the bit you love, hate, or love to hate via the episode guide or the search engine, then rate it or leave a comment. YouTube is the place to go to see the videos. But as of now, this is the place to discuss them!
Can I be a High Fiven' White Guy too?
Hmmmmmmm...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Hey Jerk! I just posted a bunch of profane comments about that stupid video and ...
[ CLICK - USER BLOCKED ] Seriously - anybody can be a critic. If you post an intelligent comment that is critical, it might just slip through.
I just posted a nice f#@!ing comment about that !## awesome video, but I don't #!#%ing see it in the comment section. WTF???
All comments are screened for profanity. This is a family site. Well, maybe a dysfunctional family site. But keep it clean, constructive and relevant; you'll have better luck seeing your posts green lighted.
But I didn't swear at all in my comment! All I said was that the person couldn't act their way out of a paper bag...
I believe I said "constructive" criticism. And no, suggesting they be replaced by that wet paper bag is does not make it helpful. May I suggest you go back to searching for "Sponge Bob" videos?
Hey - I thought you said I could leave a comment on your site.
You can. But I didn't say that anybody was going to be able to *read* them! ;-)
I was the extra in that video and I want you to include my picture and background info on your fan site.
Absolutely! Use the contact form and tell me who you are, and I'll send instructions about what I need and how to send it!
Would you be interested in some old VHS tapes of the show I found in my basement? They have that Ross Shafer guy on them...
A resounding YES! Please contact me so we can discuss any old material you might have. Anything that other Almost Live! fanatics may be interested in is a welcome addition to this site. Drop me a personal message on FaceBook, YouTube, or from the contact page and we'll talk!
